Natural Harmony
Finding serenity at day's end...15 total reviews
Comment from BeasPeas
This is very nicely composed. The image and Naani are tranquil. Sort of falls into the category of "all's well that end's well." If, at the end of the day, we can flop into a sound sleep we are fortunate. Marilyn

Thanx, Marilyn, for stopping in on this one, ma'am -- much appreciated! ;) Yvette

Oh indeed Yvette,
a perfect reposing gratitude and reflective nudge into peaceful calm
and sleep captured so enigmatically and incomparably in this
unique Naani poem dear, and perfect pic equally calming and
divinely inspirational. Even a bit of spiritual meditation.
Thanks for sharing dear, brief, but brilliantly uplifting, as is
your style and commemoration of such subtle and simple touches.
Best always, Ronni

Yeah, some of these contests are for 'shorties' as I call them.... guess that as long as they call for shortie lingerie then I can handle them -- LOL!! ;) :) Lately, the shorties work well as, like I said before, I'm trying to find my 'mojo' again and a poem here and there is what I seem to be able to do. :) :) Thank you, my lady, for your time that you have taken with this and with others... they mean more than these silly words I'm clicking out can ever say! ;) :) Take care of you out there and keep on smiling .... :) :) Yvette

Your selected illustration is a perfect companion to your Naani entry for today.
I am a big fan of centered text lines and no caps for these short verses.
I am soothed by how you created your words.
Good luck in the contest voting.

A very well-written Naani about the natural harmony we can find in nature anytime if the day. There is always something that enlightens our mind and gives us peace for our souls.

Hello mystery writer. Your poem certainly meets the standards of the naani. It's a good narrative about the creeping of twilight. You expressed the change in subtle wording. Good luck in the contest. Robert

This is an excellent naani, my friend. I like the 'day's harsh emotions'. Isn't it so very true. I wish you the best in the contest~Debbie

I love this Naani. It says much, and says it with charm and class. I especially loved the way you used the creep of twilight's shadows to symbolize the blending of the day's harshness into the still and peaceful night. Just lovely and deeply meaningful. Good luck in the contest. I think you very well may have written the winner. ~MM

Oh my goodness, MM - what a lovely surprise!! Your review is such a bright spot this Friday morning... thank you, THANK YOU!! And I'm so very glad that my words touched you as it was certainly written from the heart (yeah, no posing this time or putting myself in other shoes!) as I sat out on the front porch and watched darkness take the hill in front of our house.... Again, your review is so very appreciated!! Have a wonderful weekend!

I love the way your picture illustrates your words. Shadows getting longer, stretching out into the night, blending into the feeling of peace. Like nature's version of yoga. Love it! Namaste.
