Your poem is an excellent contest entry and the picture perfectly illustrates it. You should do very well in the voting booth. Good luck. I hope you win.

Thanks much this great review.

A beautiful poem, and definitely a contender for the win! Specifically, it's exceptionally well-written, with wonderful imagery, rhyming, and a beautiful illustration. (I won't wish you good luck, because I'm in the contest, too.)

Comment from Pam (respa)
-Very nice image
and presentation.
-The imagery creates
a vivid word picture
of various autumn scenes,
and the poem flows well, too.
-I like the second line about
"Autumn's gold" and the
repetition of similar phrases
is also very good.
-The concluding verse
is a nice way to wrap up
"nature's gifts."
-Good luck in the contest.

This is a poem that is a joy to read. You have hit the mark in every way. It just flows so well and the words used and the format... perfect. A beautiful picture... Good luck. It could be a winner.

Thank you.

This poem is skillfully-written and delightful. You have vividly described how autumn appeals to all of our senses. Also, you have made excellent use of parallel structure at the beginnings of stanzas, changing verbs to paint the entire picture.

I like this superbly written poem, touching it with and associating it with your sense and all those precious things that give meaning and lightness, and except them all as reality, written in articulate rhyming quatrains, abcb rhyming and ballad style, well done, blessings, Roy

A very well-written poem about the colorful sensation we feel when we walk through a autumn scene with all the color shades of autumn from gold, to orange or brown.

You have certainly invited us to immerse ourselves in the sensations of autumn! We can experience the sights, sounds, scents, taste and touch of the season. Too if my list - the scent of hot apple cider and the taste of pumpkin pie!

A nice look at autumn's delights using the various senses - smell, sight, touch, etc. Nice job. And the image you chose goes so nicely with your poem. I would love to drive through through great patches of these glorious colored trees. Our aspens are finally changing - and then they clap and sing in the wind.
