There are some super images in this poem about autumn: It wraps me in the waning sun
as cooler days unfold...
and also:
the breath of Autumn's orange
Beyond amber but not quite red
The speaker has an eye for detail and feeling. Instead of listing fruits or foods which are harvested in autumn, the last stanza points out that the fruits are also the shades of autumn. Very pleasing contest entry!

How colorful and how reflective of the most colorful time of year. Gold, orange, red, brown opening act for the white of winter. Spring green, summer yellow and back to color. Very nice.
