Smart poem ..love the middle line ...very truthful.
.. Often the city is describe as a jungle...
There a lot of people out there that are not what they try to pass as...they are ready to gobble you up.
They are full of smiles and sweet words but that's just a mask ....they are just for the take .. they want something from you.
Get a lay saying sweet lies , want your money, freeloaders ... etc
When someone tells me they have stacks of friends ..I think 2/3 must be phoney.
True friends are rare.
Consider yourself blessed if you find one , max two genuine ones in your life.

LOL True. They smile but they aren't saying grace. They are snack grabbers and the snack they are smiling is your FACE! LOL It is fun to go to the zoo but don't get too close!

Watch there's a lion about. Actually what you say is pretty true. In the wild theytend to frighten other lesser beasts away from their kills. Anyway when they do hunt it is always the lionesses that do the work and stand aside for his majesty to take the choice bites. So yes, the big boy in the picture is most definitely a snack grabber.

This poem could be taken literally or metaphorically. There are always people who have nothing to give you but flattery. They would like to "fatten you up for the kill" and take whatever they can get. Watch out! I enjoyed the poem. Thanks for sharing.
