As I see it people don't need to be in a church to find God.
People have lost their faith in the church due to all the scandals.
It's sad because the misconduct of those priests and cardinals have given religion a bad reputation..they have done a disservice towards God.
In the past years, just to get followers The Popes have stated that homosexuality now is not a sin.
It's clearly not natural ..but I risk to get a fine if I say that in public now ...this world is going down the drain..
In my opinion, all religious institutions (which are all focused on having power) should be abolished..the bible is there for everyone to read...we don't need people like ex-Cardinal Pell to tell us the meaning of God's words.
So don't be sad Rhonnie we are better off without them.
I believe in educators like you that want to help people understand the word of God.. you don't have personal agendas ..your concern for children, people is genuine.

First and foremost, a spot on plea. What an amazing change in my lifetime on the impact of churches and the spiritual journey so many are seeking outside the traditional faith based teachings. Good luck on the contest, however fir the reviewer you are already a winner in my eyes.
