Even though I was expecting a twist at the end, you managed to keep it so well hidden that it still took me by surprise. Clever writing. I imagine that this could do well in the contest. Good luck!

Such a purely sweet story. One would never know it was a dog going through such machinations about his master. The composition is such that the reader is convinced it is his wife. Such a surprise to read it is man's best friend, a dog! Very convincing, especially with the title. Good luck.

A very enjoyable story about the inner conflict of your main character that finds a diversion from the norm, which can lead to disaster as it almost did in your yarn, which you did very well.

I am not sure what disaster you are referring to, but I do thank you for your review!

Really hilarious mystery mind teasing bender!
Intrigue and suspense captured from very beginning to belly
laughing end! This was a 'dog' story in disguise beyond even a
hint of illusion or sheer surprise! Truly some sexy Pomeranians
that are sure to be the envy and despair of any other breed...even
human one....LOL...
Fantastic magician talent and tease, great job!

This is an excellent contribution to the contest. The dog nature of Nichole remained a disguised mystery until nearly the end. This shows how well the story was crafted. Congratulations, and good luck in the voting.

You have written the winner. There is no way anyone could see the reveal coming. Someone posted a list of fifty things your dog's actions mean. The author teased that one of the items in the list would be the surprising reason your dog jumps on you after he hasn't seen you for a while. I skipped ahead and found it. The reason is he is excited to see you. WTF? I didn't need a list to tell me that.

You are a minx, you know that? HAHAHAHA! You had me convinced, and just a little uncomfortable with the display of passion your protagonist was remembering. (HAHAHAHA!)

This is wonderful! Best of luck in the contest.

Funny story you made think that the Lady in distress was actually a woman, a bright new mom. ð???But you cleverly maneuvered the story until the end. Good luck with the contest.
