Addiction can happen to anyone and sometimes it takes God's amazing grace to recover. This well crafted poem delves into that topic and presents it well.

This meets the contest requirements nicely as addiction is certainly a dark theme even though it is one that thousands deal with on a daily basis. This is well penned wit vivid imagery and metaphor sprinkled throughout the volatile wording. Good luck in the voting and thank you very much for sharing it.

I like how subtle you introduce the reader to fight against hard habits and how in the end Jesus becomes the Savior and the permanent guardian of your life. ""Down and down,
I would descend,
and I made,
so many fake,
good friends,
in my sin!" and then transfer into the light"o find that little ray of hope,
and scream it loud from your throat!
Put down that pen,
and rip up,
that suicide note!
Because God and your family,
doesn't want,
a final goodbye letter,
they just want you to stay,
and just get better!" Good luck with the contest and have a blessed life
