First of all, this poem is amazing! I love how you can read it and it just flows. I love the poem as an adult but it's also a wonderful poem for children. Beautiful picture to go with the poem! Six stars!

This almost works... and it has some lovely ideas in it, but I couldn't make sense of these two lines.

holds up the sun throughout the day.
I think you need to make it
Flip the switch that makes the moon glow,
hold up the sun throughout the day.
because it's directed TO the fairy rather than being ABOUT her.

This meets the contest requirements beautifully as you deliver a well penned Children's Poem. I found this simply delightful. It reads so lyrically when read aloud with a meter that mimics the fluttering of the fairy's wing. Good luck in the voting and thank you very much for sharing it.
