Congrats on the win:) I read this after the contest, but would have chosen it.
I love the message and the picture. I'm in what I refer to as 'my last trimester' and am speaking louder about issues that concern me -- difficult to break away from all that learned behavior of being seen, not heard.
I'm still growing:)

I like mice - the meek shall inherit the earth - so I was drawn to your wee cutie. Yes, we should all squeak up in any capacity we can to show our abhorrence of war - even in so few words as a 1-6-1 poem.

Rather cute poem. Mice is not a good thing in our house. My dad was deathly scared of mice or a mouse. He would stand on top of the chair's seat. We purchased a mouse and laid it on his pillow. How growing up change our way of thinking after that..it was a joke we never forgot because he kept reminding us what we did.
