How I love to watch the trees, leaves dance - and sing. They do sing you know - esp. the aspen when their leaves turn brittle and bright - they clatter such nice songs.
Nice poem

A gentle verse accompanies your selected Googled illustration. You present a nice overall presentation to the FS community.
Do like your phrasing and alliterative second line. Fist line is most expressive too.
Good luck in the contest voting.

Having never heard the word "dulcet" before the poem confused me. If you have no basis for meaning in a word it takes away from the meaning of the piece. However, I looked up the word and then reread.
To see the leaves dancing as they fall smoothly to the ground does soothe the soul even to think about it. I think because it signifies a new time is ahead, a change is coming and it stands to be more beautiful then it was before.

You have made excellent use of all of your syllables in this lovely poem
that describes an appealing nature scene--appealing especially for people like me who love autumn, when those rattling leaves are myriad colors.

Trees never fail to please me and a walk through the park will always lift my spirits and refresh my mind, and also soothe as you kindly remind us in your 3-5-3, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

A very well-written 3-5-3 poem about nature and its natural transformation from season to season. We can only observe and enjoy each natural event taking place in front of our eyes.

Watching leaves gently blow in the breeze is mesmerizing and soothing. Made me wonder if tired had 2 syllables it doesn't. Thank you for Sharing this 3-5-3 and your potic Gifts. Blessings

I've never thought of it that way before, but I suppose you're right that leaves falling gently to the ground do make a soothing dance. You describe the scene beautifully, using eloquent verbs and adjectives to paint your picture, and making excellent use of the scant 11 syllables.
