This is adorable Yvette, and rollicks along and is a great response poem to the original poem. Liberated!! Thanks for a very fun read.

Your limerick is amusing--giving fresh new meaning to "grounds for divorce"--CATS, let loose by a crafty man in search of his freedom!
The artwork is stunning.

A very well-written Limerick based on Mother Goose's trip to St Ive's who meets a man with seven wives with many cats and kittens, the limerick let the cats escaped and his seven wives divorced him because of that/.

Well I guess if he has that many cats - or was it too many wives - I forget the poem. However, too many cats make such a smell and turmoil. But not like too many wives. Can you imagine more than two in the kitchen. Oi vey
good limerick.

I enjoyed your limerick for the contest, Mystery Author. Your lines read smoothly, the rhymes are great, and the well-chosen words create great imagery. I like the image, too. Thanks for the author notes. Best wishes. Jan

This limerick meets the contest requirements. It is an interesting remake of an old favorite. The divorce is something new. Also I love the image you chose to go with it.

It's not a remake... it's the return journeys. Thank you for your review, Susan!!
