LOL! :) I could use a crown these days.... :) ;) Thanx so much for your wonderful review, Joy -- you do so have a knack for making me smile out here and I thank you so very much for that!! ;) :) I hope you can 'bribe' your muse with some special ice cream or even some cotton candy (it sometimes works for mine!!)..... I really like the last line of this one, Yvette. "Life's fractured refrain." How sad. It's the stuff of good poetry though. The song may be a dirge, but sad songs have the most meaning sometimes. You have a knack for putting meaning into these short poems. I think you will probably be on the leader board with this one.
