Do like the premise about the ghost from Vermont. If my memory serves me correctly, there is a haunted bridge story in Vermont. You may be able to search for the same on the Internet.

I love Limericks and I enjoyed your bouncy words here, the last line seems to have syllable missing that impeded the impact of the line. Maybe add (and) to the beginning: "and she tired of these nightly taunts". Love Dolly x
