Congratulations on your win, Tony. I absolutely love the third stanza - you have expressed my sentiments exactly. Yes, there is truth in dreams. It can explore the subconscious, but go even deeper which you explore in the following sentences.
Our spiritual selves know the truth of our existence. In our busy lives, we don't necessarily take time out to contemplate 'the music of deeper worlds.' That phrase is remarkable! This was a pleasure to read. Hugs, Lou

This poem is a delight to read, Tony. Also, the longest single sentence I have ever encountered, but the way you've structured it makes it work well.
I assume "wit" as you've used it here means something similar to domain or realm? I've never heard it used that way before. Your mastery of unusual words or word usage is impressive.
The "fleeting sails of friendship" is very clever, I think.
Wonderful stuff. I see you are currently leading the voting for POM. I certainly hope this takes it out, it is the most deserving of those I have read. Great job,

The opening lines are especially strong and moving with the powerful images and beautiful word choices. It is a poem to be read again and again. Do you have a book of your poetry available yet? I hope so.

There is interesting "f" alliteration in the last stanza also with "fare" plus "fleeting" and "friendship" and "found." It is, in fact, almost lyrical! Not sure what to improve on. This is the second poem I've read today that speaks of dreams and nighttime, and I can honestly say I'm looking forward to bed tonight lol!
What I loved most about this poem was it's haunting tone; it was like reading in a dream actually, and if that's what you were wanting to convey, then I think you nailed it. This was my favourite stanza:
"a bidding to fare well,
as blow the winds into
the fleeting sails
of friendship
found each day anew
in ancient grains of sand
and pulsing veins"
Beautiful imagery and fabulous metaphor!
