What a lovely picture of friendship through thick and thin these lines create.

This is really beautiful. I love the message of this and how you've even incorporated fishing into your leaving this earth. Having someone that's considered a friend that shares a passion of yours is a strong and unshakeable bond. The grave is the only barrier that can shake it. Even then, it seems to sometimes go beyond the grave. I enjoyed this superbly written work. Well done!

I love the way it flows. It was very easy to read and I felt the sadness yet hopefulness that they would have been reunited when the time comes.
Sometimes I don't understand the bond that fishing brings, but it does and you made that clear.

This is a terrific use of the format and theme to make Invictus serve a more personal use. Fish outnumber the captain, but they serve and are served, to friends, for dinner, by him.
