This almost a pure Haiku. The last line is not quite a satori, but it has the Haiku feel with 'harvest moon' and the nature element. Do like how your selected artwork reinforces your verse.
tawny owl, betimes, and 'owlish serenade are nice word selections!

Interesting use of "owlish" which is reminiscent of "ghoulish" and with "serenade" it gives a nice satori effect. Lovely picture, too. Best wishes in the contest!
