I think this is a well-put-together poem that tells an important, poignant story of almost being there. It makes a strong point about the destructiveness of drugs. I think you'll do well in the contest.

Like life, ha ha. Not one puts heroin addict on their life list, but it sometimes happens, shame. Cheers.

I think you did an excellent job on this poem. I hated to see the ending, but it is true to life, thank you Vietnam. No one ever wishes to grow up to be a heroin addict. Very nice job. Cheryl
