Ciao mystery poet . I gave you your second vote.
Your poem brought back bitter sweet memories to mind . My papa ' loved apple pies and apple strudels too.
During a two week spa vacation in nearby Austria my father once found a tea shop with the best apple strudel ( homemade)he had ever eaten according to him.
He went back to that tea shop every single day to have it with a cup of ginseng coffee.
At home I used to buy him apple pie often from a shop that did home made cooking.
I remember our cat BoobaLee loved to have a bit of it too. He made strange noises while he ate it ( smile)

I enjoy your pie and your competitive nature. Please make the font more white. Its too light. you could centre it.

I enjoyed this one. It makes rather a good metaphor for FanStory contests! Like a well cooked apple pie, a well constructed poem is its own reward! Winning isn't everything!
