And, a fine offering this is. When I'm out of town, I have a tendency to miss a few things, so possibly I missed this one as well. This was fun and fresh from your creative mind. Always beautifully done and colorfully illustrated, Yvette.
Sending my best today as well,
Sally xo

Absolutely stunning imagery! I loved the sulking koi's complaint of her blocking the sunlight. We forget we're not the only ones on this planet. Great artwork as well.

So glad you enjoyed my silly little fish and lady for the contest, June -- this one was another of me just kinda foolin' around, but those can sometimes produce the best results, ya know?! ;) Take care! :) Yvette

I'm sure the fish are very tired of being looked at. I know when I am in our swimming pool that I often feel like people just stand there and watch you swim around like they have nothing better to do. I wonder if it looks the same for the wish.

A very well-written Sedoka the koi'so wants to see the sun from their dark pond while the lady wants to look at the colorful koi and blocking the sun from reaching the bond.

This is cute and I loved your presentation. Also enjoyed the alliteration in 'lurking lady looms.' Now, can fish tell the difference between a cloud and a human blocking the sun, I wonder. Do they even think about it, haha. Hugs, Lou

Your sedoka is very well-written, creative, and appealing--giving the thoughts of woman and fish. What ARE creatures thinking? Do they get tired of us gawking at them!?

Hahaha! I love your poem. I laughed out loud when I got to the last sentence. You certainly did have different perspectives in your stanzas. A delightful little poem that gave me my smile for the day - thank you!

The koi is a fascinating fish, quiet and beautiful. The playfulness is interrupted by a lady who leaves her shadow to cover his existence. Good luck with the contest.

Yes indeed, peace is relative. The lady think that the Koi are at peace, while she feels troubled and the Koi wishes that she would go away. In other words she is the problem. Well done.
