You are a very gifted writer. I do not always have to agree or totally understand, but you always have my attention. I'm not saying, either, that I'm in total disagreement. However, I still believe in my God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
I enjoyed how you added quotes from Isaac Newton, Leonardo da Vinci and others. I liked how you brought Captain Edgar Mitchell into the story.
Your essay reminds me of an organization called Synchronicity (Nelson Co, VA); I think Brother Charles and his followers believed also in the hemi-sync functioning of our brains.

This is very scholarly, thought provoking, and well documented with references. Not just a collection of personal thoughts or speculations. I had to read it twice and may read it again. (I am blonde;>) I do relate to your saying a thought is not a thing but a cycle of energy and with Newton that no energy is lost in the universe. As for your references to Avatar, I'd have to see the movie again. But this is an extremely well crafted piece and I would love to see you win with it. I'm glad to see you are publishing your work on Create Space.

I'm not totally sure I followed all of that, but what I did understand makes sense. We are all connected, and though I believe that we absolutely do die in the physical sense, the memory of us exists in the atmosphere - that's what psychics pick up. Great, thought-provoking work.
