Yes, that's one way to look at James Cameron's Avatar. I like the way you see it and how you find that it was telling a tale of all life being connected and nothing really dying, as energy only changes forms. Cameron had another political or biased view of some humans, and their civilization.

But that's for another day. Well done.

Hi there, I have to admire you for the thorough analisys of our beings. The more I read into this essay, the more i understood and at the same time I didn;t understand anything at all. I don't know whether that makes sense? Thanks for sharing. Ulla:)))

That is a nice philosophical story. I enjoyed reading it. I hope you are doing well at this time. I enjoy reading the many stories and poems people write.

You have presented an excellent synopsis of the movie, Avatar--which I enjoyed seeing and re-seeing very much...especially because of the gorgeous artwork throughout. Your next to last paragraph mentions morality. The guidelines for it cannot be human created since humans tend to be self-centered and naturally selfish--as witnessed in toddlers at play together. Just saying.

Knowing right from wrong is just as natural as knowing white and blue. It is innate to be moral...John

I think if we could store man's collective knowledge and wisdom, it probably wouldn't fill a metaphorical egg cup ,in this vast universe, my ego has shrunk since I've considered my own personal lack. As knowledge and wisdom are not the same thing, I believe history is slewed considerably by ego and omission of certain "facts" . None of us were there to observe those events, so we make decisions based on bias, war reporting of conflicts confirm this...we call it "propaganda", everything we say or think, tends to be thus, truth is an interesting word, in its absolute form lacks connection with the human psyche. But I find some writing clever, but because we're human, must contain flaw, simply because we are flawed. We cannot be trusted, perfection demands absolute knowledge and truth. Thank you for your thoughts, blessings Roy

Because you write on a subject closeto my work and thoughts, I do not find it difficult to follow your comments. (I am a Jungian based theorist and a psychologist facinate by "time") It has, for me the quality of a dialogue being propose. As an introduction this would do very well as there is so much more and else to say.

This is very interesting to read. Again, it causes us to think, a good think. I want to caution you on your use of 'that'. If I were you, I would do a 'that' word search and delete all 'that' that aren't necessary to the meaning of the sentence.

If we realized that we live forever, what goals would we not achieve??

"I see you," he tells us that the upcoming communication is universal.

he veil of ego and selfishness vanishes so that only truth remains.

Really profound thinking went into this write. Well done. For me, eternity is when I go Home...I am anxious for the answers to so many questions. I am finding that Dialogue does help a story - makes it more personal and gives it flavor. But this would make a great intro for sci-fi.
