Great work. I really like the last stanza and love forever young. The poem flow well in a difficult structure. Very strong images, "hair still big in eighties style" is wonderful. Certainly can tug at the emotions of us older ones.

How sweet memories can be when they're preserved in the heart, where they can be revisited now and then. This is a lovely trinet. The imagery is powerful and the artwork was perfect. Should do well in the contest.

This was my first real stab at a trinet (I gave up the last time around - mood was kinda sour back then, I think!)...wasn't sure how it would read to others' eyes (the whole first time jitters, I suppose!). Very good poem for this challenge. I like the 80s style hair, the wink goodbye. The poem really flows well. A good form to try, I think. "Reliving moments" - something we all do, I think, in the quiet times.

I see you and I see this piece as the thoughts of an old woman looking into the face of her loving husband, searching for signs of what he may remember of them. Maybe he suffers from Alzheimer symptoms or maybe she just still sees him and them as the young beautiful couple they used to be... Definitely worth the read. Keep writing. V
