Excellent story with a hook, a middle and a good ending. Keeps the read wanting to know more. Believable dialog all in 75 words. The characters seem real. Great job.

I really loved your piece. It pulled at my heart strings and I could see it unfolding in real life. I've definitely been that person, the one who tries to share her faith and it is not welcomed. Thank you!

I love the spiritual message in this story and particularly thought your last two lines were perfection. If I were a homeless person, that response would have had my head turning, as I would be wondering who this God was that believed in me.
Great choice of artwork.
Skilled writing from beginning to end.
This is an excellent contest entry, and I truly wish you the very best.

This seventy-five-word story, To the Least of These, has the required word count and finds the lost and downtrodden lass being sent an angel of mercy. Nice.

Love the darkness. Thought it was going to be the little match girl. Liked the ending. The perfect response to those words

This is a good story. I think if you had a larger word count it could be more developed. Be careful that it doesn't come across as a well known story if that makes sense.

There needs to be more people who are there for those in need and in it for the right reasons. Sometimes we just need someone who looks past when we got going on in life. They won't let us push them away. Those are the people that make all the difference. Thanks for the reminder.

You know how to spin a tale. Excellent descriptions to set the scene. Excellent dialogue to reveal the characters and your theme. I love the last line and the optimism is conveys.
Word counts appears to be spot on to me.
Best of luck in the contest.

Hello Yvette. That's really a good story demonstrating two sides of hopelessness. There are the hopeful that are willing to reach out and there are the hopeless that are not always willing to accept it. Good luck in the contest. Z

Having worked in a position were I took both men and women to shelters and rehab facilities, I know this attitude well. In just 75 words you have captured what I heard hours listening to.
