"Passing", is an extremely well-written and deftly descriptive piece. To me this is a six, but unfortunately I only have fives left. You KEEP WRITING and I'll KEEP READING. I look forward to seeing your next post.

I don't believe anyone truly dies, but that they survive in any number of ways, probably through the continuing human organism, even the devil is a tool in God's hands. A beautifully written nonet my friend, a profoundly chosen theme, good luck in the contest. Blessings, Roy

This is a poignant nonet that reminds us that life goes on. You did a great job with your contest entry, kapot. I like the image selected and your words speak to a forever bond with those family members that have passed, but their memories remain in our hearts. Great job and thanks for sharing. Jan

Wow. This is such a fun poem, and I really, really enjoyed reading it. Also, your syllable count is prefect, which is kind of hard to get. I had a ton of fun reading this. Thank you for sharing, and good luck in the contest.

Lovely Nonet about the continuance of love and memories though a loved one is no longer with us. That is what gives us everlasting life, if we live on in their memory, their heart. Lovely poem and presentation.
cheers.

I like the repeated "passing" in this one, because it reminds me of the theme/subject each few lines. Lovely piece, and the picture with it suits it down to the ground.

Your well-written, thoughtful nonet speaks movingly of the importance
of leaving behind a legacy. Just my opinion, of course: In a poem so short, you might want to avoid repetition of "pass on" or some form of it.

Memories definitely don't die when someone we love passes. And sometimes even the ones too little to remember will do things that remind us of those no longer with us. It's crazy when stuff like that happens. The circle of life I guess. Great job

In my opinion, a eulogy for those who passed and a welcome tribute to those who follow as an everlasting legacy - strikingly rendered in verse and image, and in full compliance with the prompt - my best wishes in the contest...

And that can be the best we could wish for as we pass through this life. A respectful memory to be passed on through the family and community. A legacy, like a wake, spreading out and touching the lives that we passed by and left behind. Cheers, judester
