Hello author your obscure word 7-9-7 poem
"Crepuscule"
Obscure Word 7-9-7 writing prompt entry
I like it cause it is well described where I could clearly picture that-

When the sun says goodbye and
the sky sighs in red gold CREPUSCULE
we call it dusk or twilight.

As soon as I saw your title I thought of the rose of that name that my sister grows. I've always thought it an ugly word for a rose OR twilight, but you've made a grand job of including and describing it in this three-liner.

Thank you very much. True. It sounds ugly

Cool use of "crepuscule." I am thinking it would be punny to use it with "corpuscle" somewhere else. Thanks for resurrecting a word that might only exist in science textbooks! Nice photo choice, and personification, too!

I really enjoyed reading this because it poetically describes a word that's new to me regarding what I refer to as 'my favorite sky moments'. I love witnessing the sky's many offerings of beauty. Best wishes in the contest!

In my opinion, good one! This is not a word with which I was familiar, until your poem, which is exactly what the prompt required, so it is fully compliant, and I wish you good luck in the contest, despite my own entry...

Dear Mystery Poet,

Isn't that new and different? I don't think I've ever heard that word - though it's similar to 'corpuscle' when you first see it and I had - mistakenly - thought they might have something to do with each other. Silly me.

This was fun. Thanks so much! Good luck!
