Far too pretentious and mundane. The flowery and archaic language is pedantic. Not meant for current times. No concrete images or specifics. Nothing that allows me to see, hear, taste, or touch what usually makes people happy.

Thank you Yvette! When I read a well written sonnet I kind of do a fist pump with a smile. lol I love your reference to pulling those old poetry books off the shelf and get lost. This is a lovely review and appreciate your time and all those stars. Thank you!

I find your poem a wee bit amusing. I think, perhaps, you may be referring to your own sonnets??? Because I know that the sonnets we find on FanStory may not always offere such peace and beauty. hehehe
