At least you have the fond memories of this wonderful car. Yes, children definitely change our priorities in life. Is this an actual picture of your car? Best wishes in the contest, my friend~Debbie

Dear Mystery Writer,
One thing that always fascinates me - always... A guy can remember things like this so well. Or exact plays - in order - from football or baseball games from a thousand years ago. But somehow, he can't remember any conversation he had with his girlfriend or wife. Hm...
Isn't that peculiar?
Fun post. Good luck!

Sweet ride. In 1970, I bought a new Cuda 440. I loved that car. My wife and I drove it to Florida when we moved here. At the end of our second week, my wife was driving it and was broadsided. I couldn't bear to look at it after that.

She wasn't hurt, but last week, she tripped over a parking barrier shattering her kneecap. It broke into seven pieces. She broke her left wrist, her right arm, and her right ball and socket joint. She had four surgeries and is now in a physical therapy center where she will remain for 3 months.

Loved the story and the car. I can really identify with this. We dropped into a diner for a sandwich. We ended up at the car dealers next door buying a rather expensive car.
I hope it lasts as long as your beauty

A very well-written story about a precious automobile you owned for many years and the memories are still alive about that dream automobile.

I bet you have plenty of stories of why you don't have her anymore. Will you have the good memories of racing her around your town. My roommate in college had a Green 65 Mustang he called the Mean Green Machine. Good story and good luck.

Oh yes the is a book of OMG?s. Sitting in the wings.....
Comment from James W. Reynolds
Nice work. With the reference to the song and just coming back from Southeast Asia (presumably Vietnam), the story captures the times. The details are vivid and help make the narrator relatable and likable.

A most impressive muscle car for sure. If I only had my 57 Chev, My 2 Camaros. My 2 corvettes... I could go on but I'm sure you get the Idea. I let them all go for a song.

We certainly had a time in our lives that were made experiential just by getting behind the wheel of a car. Thanks for sharing.

There is the first car I had a passion for that comes to mind when reflecting my younger days. It was a 1965 Chevy. While yours was the 1970 Dodge Charger RT, I do understand the sensation that you had because that Chevy was my first. Your description reflects your passion for the 1970 Dodge Charger RT.

I enjoy every single aspect of the item. I must leave that particular item and feel like I would tell someone about it, think about it or refer to it with confidence later during the day. The Author has paid particular attention to the language used and the words were chosen. Every single grammar issue has been resolved and there are no spelling mistakes. I would highly recommend this item to a friend.
