You have brought out a good point, man is always, we are always trying to change truth. Eckhart Tolle says, "It is silly to resist what is." So it is silly for man, for us to try to change truth. When I stop resisting I am deepening my relation with God and growing in Faith.
Well expressed.

Hi, i finally have some time to review people who have supported me on FS.
Yes, i think the truth is unchangeable, but it goes by different names, according to the "people" speaking it.

this is similar to my Legend story. The creator goes by a different name but he is God and i really hope his truth is heard.

I'm sorry but the Truth is the Truth, is the Truth. It isn't changeable and it will always be the Truth. I struggle wondering why people have so many problems with it. Thank you for sharing.

Al,

Another fine piece about man's place versus God's. Nice job.

Some notes:
1.) No, truth, whether man produces, or causes, or causes it to happen or not,
--> No, truth, whether man produces or causes it to happen or not,
--> there's no need to say 'causes' twice, right? I understand you intend to repeat some principles but to just repeat a word isn't really necessary.

2.) or God creates it (purposefully) or willingly or not

3.) fully, temporarily or permanently(. M)an tries to change truths,

I hope this helps -- thanks!

Thank you, but I think, your suggestions are redundant, you do not understand the purpose (clarity) of expression, and I know this is not an act of pleading my work.

Truth is truth without a doubt and is unchangeable. No one can change it. You have given a precise definition of what truth is all about. I believe that all religions want their followers to uphold truth.
Best regards
Sylvia

Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but by Me."

This truth is unchangeable and for all eternity.

Writing anything else than what Christ said about Himself is to put yourself in opposition to God, knowingly or not.

Please think it over.

I very much enjoyed reading this, and tend to believe what you said about truth. If it is true, how can it be changed? I noticed in your author notes, you made this statement: "I don't know whether God has ever spoken any complete definition on, of or about Truth." It seems to me God was speaking through Jesus when He said, "I am the way and the truth and the life." (John 14:6) If Jesus meant that He is truth, then we have our definition. Jesus IS the Word, and the Word is given to us in the Bible, so we know the Bible is truth. Does that make sense? Anyway, your writing made a lot of sense to me and I enjoyed it very much. Thank you for sharing it. The repetition seemed appropriate to me. Keep writing. MM

You have expressed many truths in this well-written story. The father and son conversation is an excellent literary method of expressing ideas.
Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life." So there we have a definition of the Truth, in a Person, if you are receptive to that. He is also known as the Word of God, which is consistent with His being the Truth sent from the Father. I believe this with all my heart.
Thank you for sharing your story about truth and God's essential role in defining it.

Try as man might, truth cannot be changed by him. Only God as you wrote can change truth. Your lines read well and the image is fitting. Thanks for sharing. Respectfully, Jan
