Another fine poem, A. L. D. And if death's a matter of time and Memorability is a matter of deeds, well, I guess I'd better get busy deeding, huh? I'm needing to get deeding!

You have it totally right, ALD, the order of things cannot be changed, they just are. The memorability is dependent on how the person lived as to whether it would be memorable in the good sense, or just a flat quid. This is another well thought out poem, which you do so well. :)) Sandra xx

I truly love the way you make me think. I got the birth and fate. I got the death and time. Then I had to ponder the next and got that what a man does in life donates who he is. Nicely done

Hi there, that is very true what you're saying in this four line poem. Birth is certainly a matter of time, and once born it's only a matter of time until death. All best. Ulla

An excellent short poem that says so much. The imagery goes well the poem. The free verse works. I enjoyed the poem. The image has religious overtones, interesting. Blessings~Brenda

This is a clear and concise poem about life. If you seek to be remembered you need to do things for others that they remember. Nice piece of religious artwork chosen to illustrate this poem.
Keep writing

A few wise words here and we are all here by chance and we never know what tomorrow will bring or whether we will live long enough to see it, but it is fun being here and I don't want it to end, but end it will, I enjoyed your few words, love Dolly x

You say this is your first free verse? Very well done. I love the line "Memorability is a matter of deed." We have no control over the hour of our birth, and death comes to everyone, but our deeds are our own. Thank you for this gift,

A very clever seer, as we can only remember what we have done or seen, quite a thought you have given the reader here, very full of passion ****kahpot
