This was a very interesting and engaging story, I really enjoyed it. I would like to know more about "the best damn doctor anywhere" and why the Colonel has a change of heart for her at the end. Also more of the Colonel's background. Tremendous potential!

Thank you for your review. There is not change of heart. There is no background. It is a dialogue-only contest... :) ;) Thanx for stopping by and have a great day! Take care! :)

This was an absolutely DELIGHTFUL read! I love the doctor (she seems to have your charm and patience, I notice...), and I have an adult piano student who IS that Colonel, except without the rank. (just the rancor...) I loved every minute of this story. Thank you for that, and good luck in the contest. xo

Thanx, my friend, for taking the time to read this one and understand it....I always worry that these aren't as 'understandable' to folks who aren't 'in my head' when I can't use words to describe what's in my head...LOL!! ;) ;) Loved when I used to volunteer at one of the places near home and there was always one or two crotchety folks (male and female) that would really 'rag' you face-to-face' but that sang your praises to the staff... always made me laugh! :) ;) I did always admire the doctors and the nurses that could continuously smile and be cheery from morning til night, even when some of the patients were anything but "delightful" to them -- a helluva life example! :) ;) Thanx again for the review and take care, ma'am! :) Yvette :)

LOL! Yvette this is a wonderful entry for the contest!! It reminded me f standing by a couple of my Dad's PT sessions except the language wasn't quite so colorful. From all of the entries I've read thus far, this should be a real contender. Good luck in the judging and thank you very much for sharing it.
