Yes, I was addicted at a very young age! Six great pairs of words to describe why we love them so. And the picture! Now, there's an addicting (and addicted?) kitten. Good luck in the contest.

You're welcome, and thank you for your poem.
-
It was such an unusual picture, but perfect for the poem.

Sometimes I go to picture sites and put in "digital" in the search. The results are very different. That's how I found this baby. I didn't have any idea what to write about until I found this kitten. Then it was easy. Loved your review. Thanks!

Pen Pal: great words describing that cute, adorable, kitten.
We love cats. They are wonderful therapy and puurrr friends.
My daughter rescued a cat from the grocery store. We named
her Sunshine, name of store. We got several cats we rescued.
Now, I have four cats. I'm sure you have cats, too. flylikeaneagle

Thank you! Love your profile name, by the way. No, no kitties here. But, thinking about it. Maybe it's time to bring another little fur ball into my life. I'm glad you enjoyed this. I enjoyed writing this. I appreciate your taking the time to read and review this. Yes, rescued animals are the best. I loved that you named yours after the grocery store. Awesome. Lovely comments. Thank you!

What an adorable presentation. I love the whole package ... title, artwork, color scheme, font and font color; all the 'ing' words describing the 'kitten drug' ... catnip maybe? The kitten certainly appears to be in a drug-induced realm of contentment, peace, happiness (LOL).
OR: this could be simply loving kittens for the adorable critters they are :)
Either way, it had me pondering, and that's always a good thing.
This is an adorable poem. I wish you the very best in the contest.

Thank you, Gale, for this lovely review! I think it's a bit of both. Is there anything more wonderful than picking one up and listening to them purr?? I appreciate your comments and your time to read this. I'm glad you liked it.

I want another cat :( My 16 year old cat had to be put down last year (kidney failure). I sure do miss her.
-
I think that's the reason I was lured to this kitten. I have the same experience as you. I think if you are ready then adopt a kitten. I'm almost ready to do that. Let me know what you decide. I'd be very interested. Even though this is blind we already know each other. Heh-heh. LOL
-
I'm seriously contemplating :) I just have to convince my husband and his dog (LOL).
I really loved your poem, by the way :)

This is all true about a kitten or a baby of any species. I like the use of only adverbs and adjectives.
Good luck in the contest

Thank you DP! You are the only one who noticed the adverbs and adjectives in this piece. Wow! That is so much appreciated. I'm glad you liked this and I'm also glad you remember and apply your grade school parts of speech lessons! Thank you again!!

You have made excellent use of all twelve vivid words in this piece.
When I was a teacher looking at catalogs for posters, I was pleasantly surprised at how many featured kittens. They are wonderful creatures.
Great tribute to them!

Thanks, Diana! I love your "awkward adventuring"! I was trying to figure out how to add that quality to them. But by that time I had already used up my 12 words. This is a lovely review and I thank you.

Dear Author,
I enjoyed your contest entry and I have to admit my bias as a lover of kittens! Also, I agree, they are all six of your poems verses and this is a great use of your 12 words!
My best in winning the contest!
