Nothing wrong with sharing. When living in the wild it is common to do so. Though your poem speaks domestic. Awe, let him live a little everything needs a little red in their taste. LOL.

Very cute and creative piece! Perfect for your contest! But surely the berries could have been washed. I sure would not let it deter me from the luscious sweet berries! LoL!

    The sight of the rodent sitting among them (pooping? piddling?) just ended my desire for those berries for the remainder of my life. Call me a sissy.

lol, oh my goodness, this is a really cute poem for the garden prompt. I just moved into a house that has strawberries all through the yard, I planted some before I knew as well, and sure enough, I have a family of woodchucks eating them all. lol Enjoy your weekend. ~Kerry

But he is so cute! =} This is a really clever and fun poem. I saw no error and got the feeling that you hate rodents. I have never seen one play the piano, but I have seen them steal food from gardens. Hope you do well in the contest. Rox

    Another reviewer referred to him as "a rat with a racing stripe." Surely THAT takes away from the 'cute'?!
