This is a fun read! I love your imagination. One of the things I love most about writing is that there are no rules- only the ones you make. I love that you've brought back people from your own history- your own past- and made them real again to celebrate your birthday. Fun story!

That was quite a gathering. Why did they all have to leave at midnight? That was not nearly enough time to become acquainted with those luminaries, and most importantly, to try to make up for all the lost years without your grandpa. Maybe you wife can be persuaded to arrange a repeat visit next year, without the sundry celebs (you have to admit they were disappointingly boring).
(The menu sounded terrific!)

Good story. But you might want to add a few commas (think clauses that begin sentences).

This WAS a fun read. Once we know that calling up icons from the past was allowed, who they'd be was the only question. The hero theme is evident with Boone and The Duke. Stan Lee, creator of comic book heroes follows nicely. The final guest brings us to where we can all agree is @ perfect choice.
