This is possibly more sincere than some of the other entries I have seen in this contest. It is also more simple with the short and basic abcb rhyming quatrains. This may not be a good thing since traditionally odes are serious and formal pieces. However, for this member-voted contest, you are still in with a good chance, so good luck.
