Truly an inspired piece, with honesty and depth of feeling. It is my sincere hope that you were able to share this with your father before he moved onto a new place. If only we as fathers could, would say more to ones children about the deep bonds and affection that is held in ones heart...humm?!

Thank you for reading and your heartfelt comment. Unfortunately, it was created and read at his funeral service. He committed suicide, and I believe it was because he realized and felt guilty that his addiction to alcohol had robbed him of his life that could have been spent with all of his children and that age was coming upon him as well as deterioration of health. He died 1 day before his 50th birthday. I encourage my son and grandson all the time to say I love you to their children as often as possible.

OMG! What tragedy and what a gift you present to your son and son of sons to allow them to be able to share feelings of endearment. Be held in the light of the Divine each and everyday.

So many families today are dealing with not only the addiction to alcohol, but also other drugs and it is tearing our society apart. I appreciate your well wishes and i send blessings your way also.
