I am glad to see this was a contest winner as it is a pure work of art! Not only does each line work so well with the next, and it flows flawlessly. I love how it's clear that this wasn't something thrown together quickly. I can tell you took your time with this one and really enjoyed it! Speaking of your colorful artwork, I was wondering.. How do you change the color of only part of the text? I'm having trouble figuring out how you made your words different colors.

It's such a gorgeous flower (As a matter of fact, I have a double bouquet of them on my table from my ever-thoughtful husband, who bestowed them "just because.") I loved the way you shared so much interesting information about this lovely bloom --things I had never learned before I read this! Interesting poem and your comments about that flower - which I can never remember how to spell. They are beautiful - official flower of Chicago - and in Japan, their petals representing perfection. Sure didn't know all that. Nice poem - a bit hard to read with black background, my only comment.

I liked it. I think you created a nice mosaic kind of piece, all these various images of chrysanthemums like pieces of glass worked together to form one stained glass window. And you brought in all these images of love, marriage, birth; images of light and color, of hope and joy. estory
