I enjoyed reading this chapter. I haven't read the previous chapters so now I will go back and start at the beginning. I can feel the connection between Cathy and Bill, and I'm looking forward to reading more.

I just love the letter theme to this. The love that is felt for the one she misses is felt through each and every word. I love how she takes the time to put in the tiniest of detail when she writes to him. You do this so well.

I have started reading from the beginning of the book now and so far there are no errors I have seen. I am really enjoying the story of the two young lovers. You can really feel the pain of their separation and the fear of what can happen during war. The detail is really excellent.
I only noticed a few items in this chapter:
divorced Eddie Fisher less than two week(s) ago! - add the "s"
"Glad All Over", - add quote marks
I'm sure you wish you were() too. - comma not necessary

This chapter is constructed as a diary in a letter format, and it makes sense because of the situation the heroes are currently, apart for nine month, but what about the baby? Thank you for sharing and good luck with the next chapter.

I like your story so far, but I have a question: Isn't classified information the things they do in the airforce for him to tell Angel? I was woundering about that since I began reading.

Hi Dihalia! Thank you so much for reading and reviewing Chapter 4 of Love Long Distance. We are very happy you are enjoying this book. To answer your question, once information is classified by the Secretary of the Air Force, it's not to be disclosed with anyone without prior approval from the Secretary (AF). We hope that helps. Enjoy the next chapters (up to Chapter 16). We are currently working on Chapter 17, and it will also be available soon. Wishing you all the best. Happy Holidays. God Bless.

Oh, ok. Thank You! :)

Such a warm story. I do see that it's fiction. It seems like it's easier to write fiction instead of non fiction. The characters are easier to write about, too. I'll keep reading. Thank you for such a great novel.

A SALUTE FOR THE SIX STAR RATING!
Comment from Robert Zimmerman
The story strikes a cord with me because it takes place at around the same time I was drafted and received orders for Vietnam. Reading the letters between the two remind me of similar events that happened during that time for me. I'm not going to tell my story in this review I will just say that I enjoyed the read and we'll look for the other chapters. The other event in the story that stands out is related to the puppies. I recall as a child seeing everyone wear poppies to commemorate those lost in war. -Robert-

I like how you put in all kinds of personal touches in these letters to give us a glimpse of these two lovers long distance; the perfume sprayed on the letter, the details about the job, and buying clothes. The part about the dream was strongest; we get that ominous shadow of impending danger, and an intuition that is a bit scary, also the feeling of helplessness in confronting it by the girl. The details of the explosives unit also casts a bit of a shadow. Some elements of the background culture (Elizabeth Taylor) are not really necessary, I think. The story is really about these two and how they confront the separation in their relationship and the danger of the war. We know its Vietnam. estory

Thank you so much for stopping by to read and review Chapter 4 of Love Long Distance. Your review is AWESOME! Much appreciate how you mention in detail what you like. As for Elizabeth Taylor reference, it really is a trivial fact, but each chapter will share some historic details, even small ones like this. As you say, though, the main part of the story is about their separation and the danger of the war. Stay tuned for Chapter 5. It will be coming soon. We hope you will continue to follow along.
God Bless,
Bill & Cathy
