At least the piece that won was actually playing by the rules. I'm glad that happened. I wouldn't have been a happy camper if the top piece didn't adhere to this rule. It'll never end on here, so who cares. All I can do is gripe about it once in a while, haha. Thank you again, Lynda. Have a great day.

I agree, Mystery Author. I'll bet the CEC wishes this form never showed up. I, also, believe many will write one big, long sentence then divide it up to make it fit the lines regardless of whether those lines make a complete statement! Most likely the booth will be held up as notices are sent to fix their entry or be DQed. Then those that wrote theirs correctly will wait, nd wait, and wait . . . . You did a great job with your multi-verse entry. I enjoyed reading it. Good job with the syllable count per line AND that each line makes a statement. Your picture choice is a great pairing, too. Thanks for sharing and best wishes. Jan

What else could you do? Maybe write a poem about the ridiculousness of it all. Huh? Good for you. You are witty. I enjoyed it very much. Wish I had a six star for you.
