I missed this at the time but congratulations on your win. The reader is drawn into the story and, along with the driver, begins worrying about the outcome. The twist at the end makes a great finale.

Congratulations on your well deserved win. You certainly fooled me! Twist apart, this was a well written story. It held my interest and your lead character, Ted, was deftly drawn.
You know this idea of someone going around looking for Good Samaritans could be the next reality show hit.

Well, it is still a good policy to stay protective. My question would be if he had all that money with him, then he would be the victim instead of you. Why? It is always nice to be good to people, but foolish to risk your life for a buck that may not be there. I bet you did look sheepish. LOL.
