Great minute! You took us into your world of death and life.
I like the gravesite spell took you into night dreams. Wonderful
oil painting. Glad you are recovering and laughing too.

I felt the coldness and haunting of grief, and how it encapsulates us. Very well done and I love your choice of visual. This could be another great example of the things that engross our unconsciousness, giving us the inability to let go.

You are so very right, Nicole -- emotions swamp us and pull us under if we let them.... this write came out of a lot of heavy emotions a little over a month ago, but the sun is shining again here! ;) :) Thank you so very much for your wonderful review -- love that you found it an extension for your work as well! ;) :) Take care! ;) ;) Yvette

This minute poem, Still, has the proper formatting and finds that the passing of a loved one doesn't pass on that quickly and may be a form of 'forever' we get to live with.

Superb poem in every way. I love the presentation too, with the picture and the colored text. Beautifully done. It's a very touching poem, sure to reach deep into the heart of any reader. I'm glad to hear this is not your current state, but you're celebrating! Me, too, for the time I still have left to enjoy life, such as it is. :)

Oh, I'm so glad you enjoyed this one -- it was a bit dark when I pulled it from my file, but I figured: emotion is emotion... right? :) ;) You take care out there, Phyllis -- hope you're doing okay, ma'am!! ;) :) Yvette

A very well-written minute poem about a time we need to be still and waiting calmly. The times we are busy we have no time to think or stand still for a moment.

This is a very poignant and touching minute poem that many can relate to. A deep sense of loss is not something we can ignore, nor simply wish away. It takes time and until then, we STILL feel and we STILL miss. But, in time, we will still feel, without the pain. Thank you for sharing these sentiments.

Very interesting poem Yvette, a little dark but then again considering what life was like with all the activity, it was also inspiring and a good reminder that one has to look at both the good and bad and hope for more of the good than bad.

Yvette you have penned a gorgeous poem here. I enjoyed every minute of this verse. Sadly the time passed by much too fast.

Oh, John -- those stars are so very much appreciated, sir! :) ;) I have to say that it really was a bit of a 'beautiful sadness' for me... the muse must have been feeling really 'down' and 'put upon' back then... we'll have to make sure there's a good summer to change all that! ;) ;) Thank you again, sir, and have a wonderful week ahead! ;) ;) Yvette

Thanx so much for the review here, Melissa -- the muse was feeling stressed and dark back then... :) Pulled this one from the files to enter it and thought "Kinda depressing, huh?!"... but emotion is emotion, right? :) ;) Take care, ma'am! ;) Yvette

Oh, Connie, thank you so very much -- you have really put some sunshine into the week ahead (the 'rain-minded' weatherman has no idea about your stars!!)! :) ;) Take care out there, ma'am, and you have a great week, too!! ;) :) Yvette :)
