I admired your starting with personification in your title and adding the reinforcing artwork. I enjoyed your random rhymes and vivid imagery throughout the piece. Big cheers- Joan

I'm not too fond of high winds, but I do love enough breeze to make the
tree leaves sing in it's wake. Very well written poem. The description of
the wind is very good.

This poem, Lady Wind Visits, presented in a unique AABC DDBC EEBC FFBC rhyme scheme, brings the mighty wind to bear on the sea and land until we can take no more.

I really like the rhythm of this fine work, it seems to mirror the capricious nature of oft used metaphor for restless, yet sometimes comforting reflection of an often visiting friend or foe.well done, beautfully written in rhyming verse.articulate and highly well paced and articulate verses, well done, blessings, Roy

HELLO SANTIAGO2: Thank you for sharing this important message to us. Like our sun, "Old Faithful," our "Lady Wind," comes and goes. They know that the law of nature is: :What goes around comes around. You have expressed that well here. Good job, Santiago2. This is good. You are good too, God bless you. Cordially: rhonnie69.

The wind comes and goes unbidden. Sometimes calming, cooling and serene; sometimes destructive and seemingly mean. Mortal man cannot control her, though Jesus showed that he could. Since he is no longer on the earth, there is no one here now who's bidding she will obey.

What an impressive personification of this force of Mother Nature! You really made her come to life for me. I could actually feel my skin prickling as I continued to read! My favorite image was "A stand of willows in the haze/Proud trees submit, turn inside out/Deprived of all conceit. What an awesome slant [oh, ha - no pun intended there!] on that movement!
It's obvious why this was awarded a "Recognized" ribbon! Super job, Santiago2. xo

Very nice. Descriptive original vignettes of wind effects word painted with the skill of an artist whose brush is a pen and whose canvas is the page! --Karenina

So lovely with wild rolling descriptions of the beauty but destructive nature of a hurricane. How well this photo captures curves and swirls of such a dynamic force of water and wind. WELL DONE. Read Review mine also. lolol liberty justice
