One and two member cents... sort of a put down for this poem...has a lot more value than what is rewarded. But then I do not think you write for just stars and such. Very enjoyable,and to me, that's all that is required. Keep plugging away...think you have talent,

This is a witty and well written poem. Yes, sometimes mechanics can be like Gods. And most beer drinkers I know feel the same as you do about PBR.

LOL! I'm so glad i'm not the only one! (re: PBR) I get flack for liking Rolling Rock and Miller High Life too though. I'm glad you liked the poem. It was cathartic.

Well before I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease and realized I was allergic to the malt in beer, I was a Michelob or Sam Adams drinker.

Yeah, last year, my autopilot wasn't working. I brought it to Deano, and he used a voltage converter to test it. Then later he went to my boat and rewired the outlet. Only charged me $40. Or maybe that was my stern light. Maybe I only paid him in PBR that time. LOL!

I like the creativity here - how the act of repairing something is the equivalent of a miracle, which at times I guess it is. The ritual is somewhat humorous, but mostly serious. I have no suggestions for improvement.

Nice use of religious imagery (with a lighter than usual touch) in this story of the miracle-worker who brings failing boat items back to life - hence the Lazarus in the title.
You may want to add notes for us poor non-sailing people. I have no idea what Coosa board is, although there may be a reference to fibreglass work. Even PBR and Irish Death have me puzzled although the context gives alcoholic drinks as the likely meaning.
