This is so true and unfortunateš??¢. Mankind was given imagination in the heart of deep love and yet so if you choose to live there . That is why writing poetry is so important to me because it allows me to express all of those wonderful dealings that our creator has allowed us to experience even if it is only for a short time or an experience yet to be discovered. I see why you have had such success š?„°

Lovelorn, heart torn... romance novels are so unrealistic. (Actually, i shouldn't voice an opinion about their veracity as I have never read one!!)... Too busy living my own B-grade novel. Terrific poem... and I am so pleased to see that you won the contest with it. Well done!

Thanks so much, LisaMay! I haven't read one either, but I think the covers tell us much about what's beneath them (and the sheets).

Where real men are gorgeous hunks with muscles, and SOO tall. And the girls are everyman's fantasy. Well, maybe not every man.

Probably fun escapism, maybe I shouldn't knock them. In fact, maybe I should write one! It's a very popular category.

Now that's an interesting idea. It'll probably be brilliant and you'll get rich and a movie will be made of it.
