Yes, nature does inspire a lot of poetry. I can imagine the poet sitting under that tree listening to the breeze and coming up with all sorts of wonderful ideas.

Yes, I could see trees, wind and a park could very well be a muse for a poet. Your poem made me think of a friend long dead, and one night on his anniversary of him being gone, I walked through a nature center where there was a park bench dedicated to him. I sat there that October night on the bench with the wind, orange sky and it was very dark. I sat there and felt very close to my friend. Yes, parks, trees, and wind make such sounds that we feel we must write something. I enjoyed your poem. Best wishes.

-Very nice image, Vance.
-Very good imagery and rhyme.
-I like the theme of "The Poet Tree."
-Good play on words, too.
-I like the nature references
as you describe poetry:
"She gathers her beloved
birds and bees..."
-The singing is joyful,
and "poet has blessed the day."
-Thanks for sharing.

Her branches and leaves make her only voice
But their wisdom indeed delivers great choice
She gathers her beloved birds and bees as the crickets
And flies bow down on their knees
Their singing begins a joyful sound
And the park is delighted all around
And so, the poet has blessed the day
Exactly as she planned it that way.

I really enjoyed this. What a wonderful way to describe the tree.
I found nothing to correct or edit.

Well it's always nice to have a poet tree around, because that makes for some excellent poetry. Sounds like nature came through here.

Delightful poem, Vance and many thanks for sharing.

I love the joyful sounds of your poet tree, Vance. Your tree trembles because it is so anxious to deliver it's poetry. What a charming image! Your whimsical tree loves and gathers the birds, bees, flies, and crickets to release it's beloved poems that bless and delight.
You have created a special poem that I will remember..

Such a vivid and lively chorus of descriptive expression. It had my senses and emotions right there in the park. I adore the use of the insects and animals that are associated with the tree's persona. A very unique piece. Beautiful
