This is really good. I like how much you were able to say with the word restrictions. The rhyme and flow is fluid and effortless. The artwork compliments your work well. Thanks for sharing this well written work. Well done!

Thank you for the review. :)
Comment from Janice Canerdy
This is an excellent, thought-provoking poem. The rhyming provides good enhancement to the overall effect. To me, the poem asks if I keep looking at something beautiful, will I see a element that's not so pretty--another dimension? ??

Glad I am not the only one contemplating rainbows. This is delightful. Like a piece of candy for our mind. The musing of a whimsical soul. Good luck in the contest. You have my smiling vote, cheers, judester

You are never alone when it comes to rainbows, Jude! :) And I am so very glad my 'whimsical' (I've heard it called else, but I rather like whimsical -- it shall be my new word!!) connected with another soul out there! ;) Thanx for your review and those lovely stars -- Cheers to you as well! :)

Very thought provoking piece. We tend to focus on the rainbow and not on the grey areas surrounding it. Maybe we will come out of it, maybe not. Many different ways to interpret this. I enjoyed the read.

Thank you for your meaningful comments - have a great week.

This is an engaging poem that consists of two deceptively simple questions. It has a nice rhythm that hides the difficulty of answering the questions. Finally, I like how the questions are left for the reader to answer.

This is a great poem! I love that you use the topic of a rainbow and its shadow. Never thought of it having a shadow before. I like the idea of asking if the colors fade to gray and the thought of stepping in and
the possibility of never walking away. Also, love the rhyme. You have a
great picture too.

This has a beautiful image and asks good questions. I especially like the first question of whether shadows of rainbows turn to gray. My guess is that nobody knows for sure. I like your use of 25 words to say a few questions and rhyme in a pleasant way. As far as the second question, only you know if you would walk away. The question might be, why would you walk away? This is thoughtful and thought-provoking. Thanks for sharing.
Take care, Jesse

What a beautiful poem! Yes, would we dare to go beyond where we could distinguish the different colors where it's in the shadows? Love the melody of the poem, too. Best to you in the contest!

a nice little poem, cheerful and entertaining like a rainbow and also being in the shadows of it and what it possibly would be like. the picture works well with the verse

A very well-written twenty-five word poem about being inside a rainbow we can imagine it might be gray. If it was possible to get inside the rainbow we might not be able to return.
