Great choice of three words! I like how with these multi-syllable words, you meet the 5-7-5 syllable count plus tell us a convincing truth. These days all that geneaological data have been an important source of documentation for the police.

I'm impressed. First of all, you definitely took the seven words or less and be concise rules to heart. You managed to make an intelligent poem/comment out of only three words, and that you made those three words, on their own, fit the parameters of a 5-7-5 poem is amazing. You definitely offer a logical definition of "genealogy," and manage to do so within the strict limits you set yourself. I'm so glad I entered my poem in a different short poem contest!!

I had this in preview for a long time awaiting an appropriate contest. Voila - finally one was announced for my 3-word 5-7-5 verse. LOL
