Very interesting. . .I'm not sure what midst life's pain refers to and I don't see any notes. What have I missed here? You did great in the contest but like some say. . .no nickels? Or, something like that. :)

Not really into interpreting my own poetry as I leave that mostly up to the reader, MoonGirl, but, when written, 'midst life's pain' referred to the context of others betraying our trust... :) ;) Thank you for stopping by -- always enjoy our interactions, ma'am! :) You take care! :) Yvette

Thanx, Professor -- and, yeah, it was one of those 'author's name will not be displayed' contests.... I'm finally taking some time to get back into some sort of normalcy - get the 'baby' (all 6 feet plus of him!) graduated this coming weekend and summer can actually start! :) ;) Thanx for taking the time to review this one and have a great upcoming week! :) Yvette :)
