I like this. You've presented a powerful message in just a few syllables. Our world indeed is facing lots of challenges that could cause these types of reactions. We need to come together under God and work these things out. I enjoyed this well written work. Well done!

Dear Mystery Writer,
There are a lot of writers here to post poems or long pieces about the environment and what the human population is doing to destroy or damage it. It's funny that they take so many words to say what you have said in just a few short syllables. Nice job! *smile*
One small notes though - you don't need a single comma in the whole post. *smile*
Thanks and good luck!

And that's the truth - the only thing to hold onto is that Jesus will return, at the time God has ordained, taking those who accept Him to heaven. Perhaps why He tarries is to allow more folks to become believers. For many right now is a sad time - Christians are being murdered in many countries. Awful.
Your poem brought things to mind.

Excellent two, four, five. Seems to be a lot of fears about our country's future. As long as we hold tight to our belief in God, I believe he will pull us through. The US is what is holding the world together. Very good and factual poem.

In my opinion, an arresting write - it offers glaring truth in its succinct verse and presentation - rhyming is even in the read - fully compliant with the prompt. Best of luck in the contest...

It might be too little too late. By the time we realize the consequences of abusing this planet, the damage could be irreversible. But, there still is a need for awareness. Thanks for the reminder.

We are living in very volatile times as far as mother nature is concerned and worrying times as far as world powers go. The future is actually looking quite scary at present, which is not a good thing now is it.
a thought provoking little contest entry, good luck!

Those few words can say a whole lot about our country, our world we live in. So many shed tears over the last several years and the fear of what to come in the future.
