So, a cold case murder to be solved and justice delivered before you can be set free to rest in peace. Most good ghost stories rely on a mystery and we have one here... now I am left wondering what happened back in '68, who murdered you and why.

You've written an excellent poem for the ghost story contest,
nicely rhymed with solid meter.
It has the ethereal touch of the otherworldly spirit
that remains to seek justice, like an old folktale.
