This is my favorite type of writing genre - short and sweet. You accomplished a lot in this 3-5-3 writing prompt.
Like your s-letter alliterations and your phrasing throughout, especially the words saffron and eventide.

Your 3-5-3 poem has very well chosen words and a beautiful illustration to accompany it. It's difficult to say something of value in just 11 syllables but I believe you've done that. Good luck in the contest.
